"Caring Clutter"

With a lot of emphasis these days on clearing out the clutter that all of us seem to accumulate, Communication Art, Inc. has chosen the theme of  "Caring Clutter" for the company's 2008 Community Service Project.

The project's goal is to donate "Caring Clutter" items to a local community organization whose mission is to help less fortunate individuals.  Each Communication Art employee has pledged to donate a minimum of three "Caring Clutter" items each week during 2008.

"Caring Clutter" items may include good used clothing for men, women and children. household items, unopened household cleaning items, paper products, good used blankets and bedding, shoes, and other useful miscellaneous items.

In the first week of Communication Art, Inc.'s "Caring Clutter" project, employees donated more than 35 winter coats for men, women and children.  One employee donated 10 beautiful 2008 calendars plus many new, unopened household cleaning items.  Another staff member donated several beautiful home decor items plus pillows and blankets.

It is the hope of Communication Art, Inc. that other companies may be encouraged to start a "Caring Clutter" program to help needy individuals and families in their area.

The "Caring Clutter project is a win-win situation!  Communication Art, Inc. employees are clearing out their "Caring Clutter" in an effort to get their homes organized. Community organizations serving less fortunate individuals receive weekly donations of very needed and useful items.
